Mercury Sunrise is an unfolding horror-science fiction universe that I use for my songwriting muse. It will eventually become an enormous song cycle, but each performance will only give the listener a small window into the larger story. This overarching theme is why I use the term "art-rock" to describe what I'm doing. About a third of my songs use unusual time signatures and/or polyrhythms, so I've tagged the project as "math-rock" too.

I currently have about 25 songs completed for the Mercury Sunrise project, and about 20-30 more songs are in varying stages of disarray. I selected these ten mostly-done songs to decently cover the breadth of what I'm doing with the project.
